Data Scientist

 Job Description-

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Computer
Vision, Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Multimodal AI, Generative AI, and Foundation Models.
The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, developing, fine-tuning, and deploying advanced
AI/ML models, particularly models capable of understanding and processing multiple data modalities such as text, images, documents, video, and other visual data. This role will involve working on cutting-edge AI solutions, including the development and customization of foundation models, multimodal models, VLM-based applications, and intelligent AI systems.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, train, fine-tune, and deploy Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for real-world business use cases.

• Build and optimize Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and multimodal AI solutions that combine image, text, document, and other data modalities.

• Work on Computer Vision use cases including image classification, object detection, image segmentation, OCR, visual understanding, and video analytics.

• Develop and fine-tune multimodal foundation models for domain-specific applications.

• Work with state-of-the-art VLMs and multimodal architectures such as CLIP, BLIP, LLaVA, Qwen-VL, Florence, SigLIP, or similar models.

• Develop pipelines for processing and understanding images, documents, videos, and text based
  data.

• Build, train, and optimize custom foundation models and deep learning architectures where
  required.

• Perform model fine-tuning using techniques such as Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), Parameter

• Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT), LoRA, QLoRA, and related approaches.

• Develop and optimize datasets for training multimodal and vision-based AI models, including data collection, annotation, preprocessing, augmentation, and quality evaluation.

• Work closely with engineering and product teams to deploy AI models into production environments.

• Optimize models for performance, scalability, latency, inference cost, and resource utilization.

• Develop APIs and AI services for integrating ML and multimodal models into enterprise
  applications.

• Evaluate and benchmark different foundation models, VLMs, and multimodal architectures.

  
  Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer
  Vision, or AI.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, CNNs, Transformers, and Attention Mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience in Computer Vision and Visual AI.
• Experience working with or developing Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and multimodal AI
  systems.
• Understanding of multimodal learning, including image-text representation learning and cross-modal architectures.
• Experience with Transformer-based architectures and foundation models.
• Hands-on experience with model fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT, and SFT.
• Experience with libraries and frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers, Diffusers, OpenCV,
  LangChain, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of dataset preparation, data augmentation, annotation, and training pipelines for computer
  vision and multimodal models.
• Understanding of model evaluation, benchmarking, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with GPU-based training and inference environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and research skills.
