Lead Data Scientist- GEN AI

 Job Description-

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Lead Data Scientist to spearhead initiatives
in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Advanced
Analytics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment and
can convert cutting-edge AI into production-grade solutions.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead end-to-end development of AI/ML solutions with a strong focus on GenAI, NLP, and LLMs.
• Evaluate and fine-tune open-source and proprietary LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Claude,
  Cohere).
• Build and deploy NLP pipelines for tasks such as text summarization, question answering, semantic
  search, and text classification.
• Architect and implement custom RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
• Conduct prompt engineering and prompt tuning for specific business use cases.
• Design and implement A/B tests, experiments, and statistical analysis to measure model
  performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, ML engineers, product managers,
  and domain experts.
• Contribute to research papers, technical blogs, or whitepapers representing company innovation.
• Guide and mentor junior data scientists and analysts.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science,
  Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, and modern NLP architectures (e.g.,
  Transformers, BERT, T5, GPT, etc.).
• Proficiency with Python and key ML/NLP libraries: PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, Lang
  Chain, spaCy, NLTK, etc.
• Deep understanding of embedding models, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate),
  and RAG techniques.
• Experience in training/fine-tuning large-scale models on cloud GPU environments.
• Expertise in ML Ops tools and techniques (CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, versioning).
• Strong background in Analytics, Statistical modelling, A/B testing, and Data Visualization.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and scalable ML system design.
